ANTARCTIC ICEBERG PICTURE

In order to be classified officially as an iceberg, a piece of floating ice must rise at least 5 meters (16 ft) from the surface of the sea.  If it is between 1 meter (3 ft) and 5 meters high, it is called a "Bergie Bit".  If between 1 and 3 ft, its a "Growler".
